Reading per-page analytics: views, dwell & drop-off

8 min read · Grow & measure

Most tools give you a view count. PDF Leads gives you the story of every page — so you can merchandise the next catalog on evidence, not a hunch.

What you can see

  • Per-page views — how many readers reached each page.
  • Dwell time — how long they stayed, page by page.
  • Drop-off — the page where readers tend to leave.
  • Likes, quote clicks and Buy-Now clicks — intent signals on the exact page.
  • Traffic source — whether they arrived by QR, social card, email signature or an email-open.

How to read it

High dwell with low drop-off means a page is doing its job. A consistent drop-off page is where you’re losing people — tighten or move it. The page with the most quote and Buy-Now clicks is your hero product; give it more room. Per-page analytics are available from the Growth plan up.

Turn the numbers into action

  • Promote your hero pages — feature them on the cover or first spread.
  • Fix or cut the drop-off pages.
  • Follow up fast on quote-click pages while interest is hot.
  • Use source attribution to put budget behind the channel that converts.
